Our aim is to unite the Mexican & Latin Community in London.

•Para mostrar los diferentes trajes típicos de diferentes regiones de Latín-América.
*To Show all the different Folklore dresses from Latin-America.
•Para enseñar el folklore a todos los que quieran aprender y crear un balet folklórico para presentaciones en diferentes eventos y festivales.
*To Teach the Latin Folklore to everyone that wishes to learn and to create a Dance group for events and presentations.
• Para enseñar los diferentes ritmos Latinos a Jóvenes y adultos.
*To teach different latin rhythms to Children and adults
•Para enseñar artes manuales de México y Latín-América.
*To teach arts and Crafts from Mexico and Latin-America.

ENGLISH VERSION
Mexican & Latin Youth Group is a new youth group in the area of Holloway with a great family atmosphere. We are proud to be part of a group that represents the Latin community in Islington to help developed de Young Latin children living in London and helped them develop new skills though Music, Arts & Craft and Dance.
We will offer different classes to teach the Latin rhythms and crafts; the classes are for children and young people from the age of 5 years to 18 years.
All the other communities can come and learn to dance and be part of the Dance group to do presentations in different events and Festivals. We will teach folklore dance from México and Colombia and in the near future we will teach folklore from different parts of South- America.
Our mission is to help Latin children to learn to appreciate and be proud of their heritage and show their Latin culture to the Capital of London. And to invite other communities to learn more about our Latin culture
Adults can also come and take part in the group and can learn to dance salsa and folklore, or simply just come learn and practice their Spanish.
We will meet every Saturdays starting on the 13th January 2007 and every Saturday from then on from 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Activities for Children and Adults
Latin Rhythms:
Come and learn to dance Salsa, merengue, cumbia and much more.
Mexican Folklore:
A chance to learn The Mexican Hat Dance and La Bamba and other Mexican rhythms like Norteña, Quebradita (North of Mexico) and Pre-Hispanic (Aztecs)
Colombian Folklore:
To learn the traditional Cumbia and many other Colombian rhythms
Arts and Crafts:
Come and learn how to make piñatas, hand made dolls, masks, T-shirts and many other things.
Guitar Lessons:
Come and learn to play the guitar with our new Instructor Mr Eduardo. He will teach you all Latin Rhythms.
Club Amigos
For the families of the children or if you just want to come and meet Latinos and practice your Spanish, have a coffee and listen to some music or take part in the lessons

Mexican & Latín Youth Group es un nuevo grupo en el norte de Londres en el área de Holloway con un agradable ambiente familiar. Estamos orgullosos de ser parte de este grupo que representa la comunidad Latina en Londres para ayudar a progresar el desarrollo infantil y juvenil por medio del Arte, la música y el baile. Ofreceremos varias clases de baile y artes manuales para los niños y jóvenes de las edades de 5 años a los 18 años para seguir enseñándoles nuestras costumbres de latín-América.
La juventud y niñez latina podrá venir a aprender a bailar los ritmos latinos y formar parte del Grupo de baile para después poder hacer presentaciones en diferentes eventos y festivales incluyendo El Carnaval del Pueblo. Enseñaremos bailes folklóricos de México y Colombia y en el futuro estaremos enseñando folklore de diferentes países de sur-América.
Nuestra visión es crear una juventud Latina donde puedan fortalecer sus raíces y poder apreciar y mostrar con orgullo su cultura a la capital de Londres.
Los adultos también podrán tomar parte de este grupo y pueden venir a las clases de salsa y folklore que se darán en la última hora
Las clases darán comienzo a partir del Sábado 13 de Enero del 2007 y de ahí las reuniones serán todos los sábados de la 1:00pm a las 5:00pm.

Ritmos Latinos:
Ven y aprende a bailar Salsa, merengue, cumbia y mucho más.
Folklore Mexicano:
Una oportunidad de aprender el Jarabe Tapatío, La Bamba y otros ritmos Mexicanos como la Norteña, Quebradita y danzas Aztecas
Folklore de Colombia
Aprender el baile tradicional de la Cumbia el San Juanero y otros ritmos de Colombia
Artes Manuales:
Ven y aprender como hacer piñatas, mascaras, playeras y muchas cosas mas de Sur-América.
Clases de Guitarra
Aprende a tocar la guitarra con nuestro profesor Eduardo. Enseñara ritmos Latinos.
Club Amigos
Para las familiares de los niños que vienen aprender y para venir a conocer más Latinos y practicar su Español, tomar un café y escuchar música o tomar parte en las clases.
