Mexican Folklore Group was funded in February 2009, is a group created from Youths and adults from the Mexican community in London.
In June 2009 the group had the first performance and from there the presentations have been coming in, including the Lovebox Festival and the biggest Latin Carnival Carnaval del Pueblo.
The group is born to represent the Mexican community and show part of the folklore through our dances.
The group is made of 6 dancers who represent the regions of Jalisco and Veracruz with dances like Mexican Hat dance and La Bamba. We are working very hard to bring more dances from different regions of Mexicofor everyone to enjoy.
The group offers performances from the regions of Jalisco and Veracruz and our team combines elegance with energy and a display of beautiful Costumes.

Grupo Flolklore de México, fue fundado en Febrero del 2009, es un grupo formado por jóvenes y adultos procedentes de la Comunidad mexicana en Londres.
En Junio del 2009 el grupo llevó acabo su primera presentación pública y desde entonces sus presentaciones han aumentado, incluyendo el Festival de Lovebox y el Carnaval del Pueblo. Su nacimiento se debe a la necesidad de crear un Grupo de Folklore que represente la comunidad mexicana en Londres dando a conocer por este medio la cultura de nuestro país
El grupo esta conformado por 6 bailarines y representan los bailes de las regiones de Jalisco y Veracruz de México. El grupo esta trabajando muy fuerte para aumentar su repertorio y así complacer a todo el público en general.

Es un NUEVO grupo de a base en Londres. Especializado en los bailes Folklóricos de México. El grupo consiste de varias bailarinas la mayoría de México.

Nuestro show trae: Una explosión de Energía de color y música. Bailamos los bailes más típicos de la región de Jalisco y muy pronto bailaremos de otras regiones como Veracruz, Chiapas, Nayarit y muchos más.

MEXICAN FOLKLORE GROUP is a NEW London-Based Group. Specializing in Mexican Folkloric Dances. The group consists of several dancers mostly from Mexico.
Founders and Director are Lupita Gallardo and Hortensia Celis both Originally from Mexico. Lupita took Her Folklore dance studies and started the group.
"I feel great love and passion for my Mexican culture and music, so the purpose for this group is to share this with the public through our dances" Says Lupita.
This group is been created to perform all over the UK to show our culture.
The Attires that the dancers wear are professionally elaborate in Guadalajara Mexico.
Our show brings: ENERGY FILLED WITH VISUAL EXPLOTION OF MUSIC AND COLOR. Each performance highlights some of the best known Mexican Folklore dances. Performances are done with routines of Mexican zapateado from the region of Jalisco Mexico and soon from many other places in Mexico like Veracruz, Chiapas, Nayarit and many more.
